In Savannah, Georgia, the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force handed down indictments on 32 people with a conspiracy to distribute marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy in Georgia and California. Following a six-month investigation, drug proceeds, guns, vehicles and drugs, as well as, 200 pound bales of marijuana which was to be distributed in Savannah were seized.
U.S. Attorney Edward J.Tarver states, “The United States Attorney’s Office and its state and federal partners will continue its efforts to shut down those large operations responsible for supplying street level drug traffickers.”
