Rising Through Failure

Everyday someone fails and everyday someone succeeds. Throughout history we see where the most successful people in life have often failed in their attempts to succeed. Abraham Lincoln failed several times in his political efforts, but he never gave up and eventually won the office of President of the United States. Winston Churchill failed in every attempt for public office until he was elected Prime Minister at age 62. ( http://www.des.emory.edu/mfp/efficacynotgiveup.html). The fight to overcoming addiction is also laden with failures. For a while, the addiction seems to subside and those who are fighting tend to think the battle is won and let down their guard. Then suddenly, you are hit with the desire to use and as much as you do not want to you fall victim once again to the power of the drug and the addiction itself. Once again, you feel that you are failure and that you will never be free from addiction; you just want to give up. There is hope, you can rise through failure and become free from addiction. The most important mindset to have is that you can and will be victorious in this fight. Overcoming the addiction will not be easy and you will have to fight. But you can do it. Through the help of addiction treatment and rehabilitative services, you will be given tools and education to use as armor in your fight. Do not allow addiction to fool you into thinking that because you have failed you can not win, you are more powerful than that. Take a stand today for you, addiction treatment will empower you on your road to recovery. You can rise through failure and like Abraham Lincoln and Winston Churchill, you will be able to use that failure as fuel for success.
