A Message to the Addicted
You're visiting this site is not an accident. Thank you for your courage in taking this first step to your recovery. Drugs, alcohol, cutting, gambling, food; whatever the addiction, you are here because you want and need help. This addiction has put you in a place where you feel as if you can not move forward in life and that you are drowning in a pit of quicksand. The Tennessee/Georgia Drug Help Line wants the opportunity to extend a helping hand to you in your search for drug treatment. This determining factor is that you have to want to be free from addiction. You must understand that you have to first do this for yourself and no one else. Now is the time for you to be selfish in the fact that you want to be free from the addiction and you will do anything in order to achieve this freedom. Take this time to look at yourself and determine if a life of drug addiction is where you really want to be. I know that you want to be clean and sober and to live a life or normalcy; a life where you can love yourself and be able to look at you and know that addiction no longer has you bound by its rules. You have to be the one to make this a reality. Please, pick up the phone and call 1-800-863-9166, or fill out the section on the "Get Help" page and a referral agent will help you find the right drug treatment center to best meet your needs.
